Are you already a certified Open Water Diver looking to take your diving skills to the next level? The two-day Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD) course is designed to expand on the skills you learned in your Open Water course and introduce you to new types of diving, allowing you to explore the underwater world in even more depth.
The AOWD course at The Dearly Dive consists of five dives, including a deep dive and a navigation dive, plus three additional elective dives that you can choose based on your interests and goals. Some popular elective dives include night diving, wreck diving, and underwater photography.
The deep dive will take you to a maximum depth of 30 meters. The navigation dive will teach you how to use a compass to navigate underwater, giving you the confidence to explore new dive sites and find your way back to the boat or shore. The elective dives offer a chance to explore different aspects of diving, from the fascinating world of nocturnal creatures on a night dive to the history and mystery of a sunken ship on a wreck dive. You'll also learn valuable skills like buoyancy control and underwater communication that will make you a safer and more confident diver.
